Prof Ann Lee: Will China’s Economy Collapse?

In her new book, “Will China’s Economy Collapse?” Prof Ann Lee addressed a key question that China watchers and economists have been asking for more than two decades.

Prof Lee provides a careful analysis of the strengths and weaknesses of China’s economy and discusses why it could be more resilient…contrary to popular belief. Some other major points she tackles are implications for other capitalist societies around the world, advice for policy makers about what changes must occur to ensure continued global stability and prosperity, and China’s unique blend of strong state-led and laissez-faire capitalism.
