Eric Feng

Eric Feng is a leading authority in the area of public speaking and business communications. He has written four communication books including Get To The Point ®.

Well known for his practical insights and humor, Eric has worked with many prestigious  companies like IBM, AIA, Pfizer, Credit Suisse, Shell and FedEx. Apart from teaching executives and managers to increase the clarity and persuasiveness of their presentations, Eric also helped C-level executives to craft more effective speeches that inspire action and results. Key events that he was involved in include regional APEC Summit 2009 and the annual Public Communications Conference organized by the Ministry of Information, Communication & The Arts.

Eric is also well regarded as an expert in public speaking by the media, which explains his regular appearance on both regional and national TV, radio and print. This includes Channel News Asia, Prime Time Morning, Channel 8, Good Morning Singapore, The Business Times, Business Week, Lianhe Zaobao, News Radio 93.8 and KL’s busines radio station BFM 89.9. He also actively contributes articles to well-known business magazines like HRM, Human Capital, Today’s Manager and Channel News Asia Business Blog.

As a result of his achievements in professional speaking, Eric has won several awards including the “JCI Ten Most Outstanding Young Person Of The World” title in 2012, “Business Week Top 25 Young Entrepreneurs of Asia” title in 2007 and the “NUS Most Outstanding Alumni” title in 2011. This award is given to ten selected alumni every two years, recognising alumni who have excelled in their chosen field (in his case ‘professional speaking’) while exemplifying the best attributes of today’s youth.

At 15, Eric was booed off the stage in front of 600 schoolmates and teachers. In his yearbook, he was remembered as the guy who “won” the public speaking contest. He was also advised by countless of his friends that “public speaking was not his thing and he should stop trying too hard”.
